Paintball Netting

My teenage son celebrated his 18th birthday and as you might imagine, boys his age are full of life and energy; my husband and I decided to celebrate his birthday by throwing a huge paintball party for Josh. To be honest, we are so busy with our work schedule that the whole preparation for his party took us only one week; we rented the equipment such as guns and helmets from the local paintball store and the ghillie suits along with the camo nettings we ordered online. I also ordered a cake and bought some paper plates and very colorful silverware from the nearby grocery store. I cannot explain how easy the whole process of getting everything done was to us.

We invited 12 of Josh's friends and since we knew the boys pretty well from our son's school and some of them were our neighbors, we invited a few parents as well. The celebration took place in the local park that is an hour away from us;  it took the boys maybe an hour to divide the kids in two teams and each team build their own home-bases that were made out of the camo nettings that we brought with us. I must admit, the bases looked quite impressive! They totally blended in with the natural colors and you really had to pay attention from the distance to find each base. Next, the boys shared previously assigned ghillie suits – seeing 12 kids running around in these suits was very entertaining as they looked so funny!

The party was a blast; every single guest enjoyed his time with us and I even had a chance to talk to some of my girlfriends that I have not seen for quite time. My husband was no where to be found, he joined the boys in their game and was having great time as well.

I strongly recommend the paintball party, it is quite inexpensive and you can keep the camo netting along with the ghillie suits for some other occasion such as Halloween or hunting.
